About this print
Kawase Hasui’s woodblock print of the Tsuruoka Hachimangu shrine, 1931, in autumn. Golden ginkgo leaves, a red gate at the top of a wide stone staircase, and visitors and pigeons on the steps.
Print quality
This print is made by hand in an artisan workshop in La Rochelle, France, using materials sourced in Europe.
It is printed on premium papier vergé (laid paper), which has a fine, subtle texture. The colours are made to last, so they won’t fade, even in direct sunlight.
